My Specialist Programs

Quote of the week

I have been with All About Travel, Inc. since 2012.  I am Karen’s assistant and help with everything from booking airline tickets to pricing out destinations for clients.

With every reservation that I make, I like to give special attention to exactly what our clients are looking for and what’s important to them. We all strive to make the most of every vacation and create a lifetime of memories for each one of our clients.

I am lucky enough to have had first hand experiences in many of the destinations that we specialize in. When I am not traveling or working I enjoy spending time with my son and being with friends.

Frequently Asked Questions

Can my pet travel in the cabin with me?

Small dogs and cats may be allowed in the cabin, depending on airline policy. Some airlines will not allow pets in the cabin and will transport them in a heated and ventilated hold.
In addition, depending on the country of departure and destination, service animals (which are not pets and are defined as working animals that assist persons with disabilities) may be allowed (by law) to travel in the cabin.

What happens if you lose your passport abroad?

If your passport is lost or stolen while you are abroad, remember we will have a copy of your Passport here at All About Travel, contact or visit the local U.S. embassy or consulate immediately and ask the American Citizens Services (ACS) unit to report the loss/theft. The consular officer there may have you fill out an affidavit or a sworn statement to state the circumstances under which you lost the passport or under which it was stolen.

Remember, embassy officials are there to help you. Telling the truth is always your best course of action – you don’t want to have any difficulties getting a new passport to get home.

Your identity and citizenship will need to be confirmed by the officer through a personal interview. The officer will then have you complete an application for a replacement passport to get you home safely.

Usual application fees do apply if you have to replace your passport. However, if your money has also been stolen, we can help you contact friends or family to replenish your funds.

Are there certain types of dog that travel better than others?

Transport of snub nose dogs, such as boxers, pugs, bulldogs and Pekinese, in hot season is not recommended. These animals have difficulty in maintaining a normal body temperature in hot weather.

Does an infant have to have their own seat on the plane?

NO, children under the age of 2 are considered a lap child and sit on their parent’s lap for the flight
