I am new to the travel industry but no stranger to travel itself. I lived in Panama for the first few years of my life while my father was in the Air Force. I grew up in Madison, SD & during my senior year of high school I joined the South Dakota Air National Guard. I graduated from Chester Area High School in 2007 & left for basic training soon after. I was lucky enough spend 2 weeks in Hawaii during my 6-year enlistment with the guard.
I lived in Washington DC for 3 years & moved back to South Dakota in 2013. I then attended Mitchell Technical Institute for Culinary Arts & was named “Top Chef” in 2015. I love to create new and exciting flavors!
In my free time, I love to spend time with my 1-year old daughter, Blake. I’m so excited for her to get older so that we can go on adventures together!
What do you charge for setting up my airline ticket?
Our office charges a $30 per person booking fee.
What should I do if my luggage is delayed?
If you get to your destination and realize your bags haven’t made it there with you, do not leave the airport! Go to the airline personnel where they can assist you in tracking your bags and filing a report. Most airlines are cracking down and require better tracking for delayed or lost luggage. If you are needing to file an insurance claim for lost or delayed baggage you will need to have a copy of this report.
What types of air trips are there?
1.Roundtrip means you will fly from one location to another, and then back to the first location.
2. One way means you will fly from one location to another, and will not return to the first location.
3. Multiple destinations means you will visit several locations and therefore need to choose flights between each of those locations
How do I obtain a visa?
To determine if a visa is needed for the country you are visiting, go online to the U.S. Department of State which is a great source for American’s to learn about their travel destination. If you find you do need a visa you will want to call the country’s consulate who will be able to help you with the next steps in obtaining your visa.
