Quote of the week

I have been with All About Travel since 2014. I worked in the Sioux Falls office for 3 years. You can now find me in the Milbank, SD office. You can reach me at heather@allabouttravel.org.

I have always had a passion for travel! I had the privilege of traveling extensively throughout the United States, Canada, and Mexico from a very young age! Most recently I have been to Puerto Vallarta, Cancun, and Riviera Maya, Mexico; Punta Cana, Dominican Republic; Montego Bay and Negril, Jamaica; Nassau and Paradise Island, The Bahamas. In 2017 I will be traveling to Yellowstone, Nashville, and Costa Rica!

In my free time I enjoy backyard barbecues, road trips, spending time at the lake, and checking out antique shops.

The most rewarding part of my job is when my clients return from their trips and share their travel stories and travel photos! From family vacations to destination weddings to honeymoons and everything in between, I want to help you find your personal paradise!

I have experience with customized itineraries to destinations such as Hawaii, Alaska, and Europe. I have planned multiple destination weddings, honeymoons, and vow renewals as well as multi-generational family groups. I am continuously expanding my knowledge as a travel agent and I have several certifications with Celebrity, Sandals, Starwood, Disney, AMResorts, Trafalgar, Globus Tours, Riu, Avalon Waterways and Outrigger.

Frequently Asked Questions

Any insider tips for a fantastic All-Inclusive experience?

Always pack in your carry-on what you need to get by. For me, that’s a pair of contacts, a swimsuit and something nice to wear to dinner. I bring a plastic tumbler to put my drinks in while at the swim-up bar. I love bringing a beach bag so that I can toss in a cover-up, sunscreen, a book, my room key, etc. I bring aloe packets to put in my water as well as other supplements that help my stomach. We eat pretty healthy at home so it’s a shock to my system to eat heavier meals and drink more than the normal amount of adult beverages J Bring what makes you feel better! Don’t be afraid to try something new! If you don’t like it, order something else. If you’re not sure about something, just ask! The staff are there to make your stay as memorable as they can. The same goes for me – if you have any questions, please ask and I’d be happy to help!

What are the age requirements to rent a car?

In the United States, most car rental companies have a minimum age of 25 or above. In Europe, foreign driver restrictions vary from country to country. Drivers need to be a minimum of 18 in most countries and have a valid US drivers license.

How long are passports valid for?

Adult passports are good for 10 years.

Passports for children under the age of 16 are good for 5 years.

What are the different types of ticket classes?

In addition to Coach/Economy class seating, many flights offer Business, and/or First Class seating. Please note that the following descriptions are generalizations; some airlines may use different names to describe their classes of service.

• Coach/Economy class is seating is in the main cabin area. These seats are usually the least expensive.
• Business class seating--when available--tends to feature roomier seats that recline farther, more leg room, and upgraded meal service. Business class tickets cost more than Coach/Economy but less than First Class.

First class seating is usually in the cabin area nearest the front of the aircraft. It has the fewest and most comfortable seats, and offers upgraded meals. Other perks can include shorter lines at check-in and use of the airline's airport business lounge.
